1967 GT 500E Bodywork

This 1967 GT500E was brought in after receiving front end damage from a construction worker who had backed up into the driver side fender and hood. This Mustang in particular has a molded front end so you can’t just remove the panels for repair, we inspected the fiberglass panels and had found cracking beyond the initial impact point on the driver side fender, hood, and driver side bumper.

We began bodywork and repair to the fiberglass panels and ended up repairing all other chips and imperfections on the entire front end bringing this Mustang back to life. After 25 hours of bodywork the panels were ready for primer and paint, we meticulously taped off the black stripes on the hood and prepared for base coat and clear.

After the clear coat dried we wet sanded and buffed all panels to eliminate all orange peel. Lastly the hood, engine bay panels, and lights were reinstalled and a final wash for delivery to the customer.
